Shall We Talk offers the understanding that anyone and everyone can take action. There is no only "one-way" to being involved with our work. We are a foundation that is truly by students, for students. We are always looking for volunteers to support the various ongoing and future projects we have. Opening Volunteer Spots For Project AngelLine

By volunteering as an Angel for Project AngelLine, your support and play a vital role in offering support to peers in need. Not only are you able to lighten up someone's day, but you will also learn a lot of crisis intervention tips and coping strategies as well through our intensive training.
Why volunteer? If you’ve been there before, you’ve known what it feels like to struggle with mental health, or you just want to help and give support to other peers in need.
With all the training you get, we ensure that you feel completely supported in helping another youth.
What does it take?
To become an Angel, you must:

Be 14+ years old

Commit to volunteering with Shall We Talk for at least 3 months

Commit to offering outreach to the matched peer for at least 1.5 hours per week

Complete all orientation and training requirements, which include:
- Completing an application form
- AngelLine Orientation
- Training and Shadowing Sessions
- You may be asked to participate in focus group interviews
